With Plaxico Burress having just been sentenced to two years in jail for possessing and discharging a firearm in a public space, we are reminded that these masters of the field and the court are just people, too.
A couple of weeks ago, you tube posted a video with the USC football team singing Lean on Me during a team meeting. Well, head coach (and prankster) Pete Carrol had some fun by bringing in the man who wrote the song, Bill Withers, to play a joke on the team. And then, of course, things turned into a jam session.
There may have been an unassisted, game ending triple play at the game Saturday night, but there was also this night ending TKO for one Mets fan!!!
