Bill Withers visits USC Trojans team meeting… very inspirational!

A couple of weeks ago, you tube posted a video with the USC football team singing Lean on Me during a team meeting. Well, head coach (and prankster) Pete Carrol had some fun by bringing in the man who wrote the song, Bill Withers, to play a joke on the team. And then, of course, things turned into a jam session.

It’s finally August, which means that football season is almost underway. Now is the time for analysts to spend hours debating over who they think the best college football teams in the country are.

That’s way too much time to spend guessing about rankings that will look completely different a few weeks into the season. I prefer to spend my time on a more rewarding rankings that don’t flip flop nearly as much.

There was some scary news this past spring, but after some time off, Lee Corso has recovered a mild stroke that he suffered. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Corso is doing well and will be returning to College Gameday, once the season gets underway….

Most of the people at the Fan are witty and enjoyable to listen to, although the arrogance of some folks at the station( and if I was there, I’d be looking in Richie’s direction) can be annoying at times.

Seriously, since when did having a degree in journalism qualify one as some sort of expert on relevant political, social, etc, issues?
